Leadership
At the helm of Emerys Holding is the AKJ group, which combines entrepreneurial zeal with a conglomerate like ethos.
AKJ Group was established by Mr. Ashutosh Jatia.
He graduated in management from the University of Bradford, UK & studied private equity at the London Business School, UK.
Ashutosh worked for his family business, CJI Porcelain Pvt. Ltd., India which is a SME business. The business recorded a 22% CAGR in sales and become the most profitable company in the industry.
The SME stint in the family business gave birth to the idea of investing in SMEs to make them champions in their respective businesses.
Ashutosh also hopes to solve the perennial problem plaguing SMEs – lack of proper succession and an exit plan.
He is active in various industry associations in India and is particularly passionate about the evolution & upscaling of the SME sector into a world beater.
